Amman-Mubasher: The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) saw an upward trend on Thursday, clawing back early losses after 0.26% or 5.53 points to reach 2,131.23 points.

Trading volume reached 6.2 million shares exchanged through 2,357 transactions, reaping a turnover of JOD 7.3 million.

The services sector rose 0.34%, followed by the financial and industrial sectors at 0.24% and 0.23%, respectively.

The United Insurance was the best performer, adding 5.88% to JOD 1.44, while Philadelphia Pharmaceutical led losers, declining 4.94%.
